the seal

Mix. Cast. Discover.

There's no spell list to memorize. Every element has its own key: put them in your seal, and what you get depends on what you combine.

I
Some fuseCertain pairs become a new element that isn't on your keyboard.
II
Opposites cancel outMix the wrong things and the seal wipes clean… or blows up in your face.
III
The strongest sets the shapeStream, beam, chain, projectile, wall, cloud, minion: whatever weighs most in the mix decides how it comes out.

iBuild your magic

Three slots to start, five with a full seal. Learning to mix is learning to fight.

iiEvery spell marks you

Casting leaves you with your element's aura: stronger in it, and more vulnerable to its opposite.

iiiThree ways to cast

Forward, in an area around you, or on yourself. Same mix, three different spells.

34 special combinations

What you add changes the spell.

The same element can become a wall, a mine or a storm depending on what you mix it with. Some combinations hide surprises: go find them.

A ring of ice spikes surrounds the wizard
Walls that close inRaise barriers that nothing gets through.
A dark cloud strikes the arena
StormsA cloud that punishes everything beneath it.
The ground burns around the wizard
Burning groundZones that hurt anyone who dares to step in.
Pink magic circles scattered across the arena
MinesPlant them and wait for the horde to arrive.
Rocks bursting into shards
Exploding rocksThe impact bursts into a shower of shards.
A greenish cloud covers the enemy
Draining cloudsIt rains something you'd rather not breathe.
13 reactions between statuses

Set up. Follow up. Blow up.

Every hit leaves a status, and statuses react with each other. Set things up with one spell and finish with another to multiply the damage. Careful: your own spells leave an aura on you too.
